Should You Buy Resveratrol for Longevity?

by Harry J. Andersohn

Red wine has long been touted as having very many benefits to the human body. It is a well known fact that it is good for the heart and great for the body. But were you ever told that you had to consume at least twelve bottles of red wine a day to see those benefits? 12 whole bottles?

Well, you'd have to drink the case -- that's 12 full bottles -- of wine each day before you'd see the effects. And of course we're not talking about all of the negative effects that this kind of behavior would have. But there is a solution. Just isolate the good stuff in the wine, and take that, and get rid of the bad stuff.

Resveratrol supplements are beneficial to the body. They work at the cellular level making your cells stronger and making them heal faster. What do stronger cells translate into? Well for one, it diminishes your chance of age related diseases such as diabetes, Alzheimers, and even cancer.

If your family has any kind of history involving diseases such as cancer or diabetes, resveratrol can even start to minimize the risk of those illnesses, along with many others.

But it doesn't stop there. If you want to lose weight, resveratrol is a great option here as well. If you take resveratrol supplements as directed, you can increase your metabolism and energy and counter the effects of a less than perfect diet.

Benefits mentioned earlier are just side benefits, however. Resveratrol has been gaining popularity for one major reason.

It is an anti-aging supplement. No, I'm not guaranteeing you that you will live into your 100's (But hey, it's definitely a possibility!). But I am telling you that many people, including doctors and other medical professionals, have found that Resveratrol has many anti-aging properties.

The other benefit of resveratrol relates to this thing called the French paradox. This refers to the fact that the French generally have much lower rates of heart disease than people in the United States, even though they need a diet that's high in fat. We've long known that red wine is probably responsible for this. But until recently we didn't know that it was the resveratrol in the red wine that was ultimately responsible.

Resveratrol, scientists believe, is able to activate what's known as the longevity gene in your body. So what it does is that it sends a message to your cells that makes them, for lack of a better term, just work better. It quickens healing, gives you more energy, and improves your overall health.

And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, there's also the recent study that says that supplementing your diet with doses of resveratrol an dramatically reduce the buildup of plaque in your brain. Now if that doesn't get you excited, you need to know that many common diseases, such as Alzheimer's, are caused by this very plaque buildup.

Again, we've talked about a lot of benefits of resveratrol here. But this is really just the tip of the iceberg. And this is why many members of the media have really started to pick up on this and have been touting resveratrol's benefits for quite some time.

The benefits that I've listed here are just the beginning of the benefits that resveratrol can offer you. There is a good reason that the media has started to recently focus on resveratrol. It is beneficial on every level of your body.

I don't think there's much question that resveratrol can have some amazing benefits for you. Give it a try today and see for yourself. And by the way, below I show you how to get a sample supply of resveratrol for free -- so you truly have nothing to lose.

Tinnitus Cures

by Matt Hellstrom

If you hear ringing in your ears or some other constant sound when there does not actually seem to be any noise present, you may be suffering from tinnitus. If that is the case, you may be searching for cures for tinnitus to alleviate the issues that you are having, but it is much more helpful to understand how this condition is developed before you go any further in your quest to find a cure.

The condition can be traced to many things. It has been linked to stress, trauma, degenerative conditions of the inner ear and has also been linked to both prescription and non-prescription medications. Some of these causes are unavoidable in everyday life, but with modern technology, far too many people put themselves at risk of this condition for no apparent reason.

When you are looking at the people that will normally suffer from tinnitus, you will see individuals who work in construction around equipment that is very loud, concert workers and enthusiasts or people that undergo a great deal of stress in their everyday life and job.

There is a significant pool of individuals who expose their ear drums to unnecessary risk because of things like iPods, Bluetooth devices and head phones. Having the volume on any of these items set too loud will put you at risk of developing tinnitus. If you are using these types of devices, you need to understand that you only need to hear it, not have everyone else around you hear it also.

If you have contacted this condition, you may be looking for a cure, but there are few things that can be done once you actually do the damage to your ears. This condition is more about prevention and recognizing it early enough so that you can prevent it from getting worse. People sometimes misunderstand to think that they cannot use these devices when they are actually only being asked to keep the volume at a reasonable level so they do not damage their eardrums.

With all of the diseases and other things that we are exposed to in today's society, it is amazing that people would not be a little more careful in preventing a condition as harmful as tinnitus when the prevention of it is relatively easy. Remember, this is NOT a disease, it is a condition that is created because of our own negligence.

Usually, once the underlying causes such as exposure to loud noises or allergy-causing chemicals or foods are removed from the equation your tinnitus goes away. If that's the case, you probably will need to work on preventing it from coming back. Most of the time, the best remedies for tinnitus are simply following common sense rules for protecting your hearing and lowering the volume whenever you can.
